Project Description Status Milestones
MTNF PAAC (Partners Against AIDS in the Community) in partnership with Hope World Wide Nigeria et al

To implement projects on awareness, prevention, voluntary counselling & testing (VCT) and prevention of mother-to-child transmission. * Provide nutritional and psychosocial support to HIV/AIDS positive people registered in the MTNF PAAC support group. * Set up viable businesses for 60 members of the support group.

* Provision of 12 HIV/AIDS Information interactive Touch Screens.

5 Voluntary Counselling & Testing Centres commenced services with 3 formally commissioned. * 538 members of the support group are being provided with nutritional and psychosocial monthly. * 30 members undergoing training on fashion designing, Embroideries, soap and candle making in Gombe, Sokoto and Kogi States. *10 members in FCT to undergo training in GSM repairs in 2007.

12 Touch Screens commissioned and currently being deployed across the country at various locations.

Voluntary Counselling & Testing Centres in Kogi, Sokoto, Gombe, Cross River and Lagos commenced testing services. * 10 members of the support group in Anambra trained and provided with equipments as call centre operators.
Partnership with Sickle Cell Foundation of Nigeria To establish sickle cell clinics for the provision of preventive and curative healthcare services for sufferers of the sickle cell disorder. Over 4 million Nigerians suffer from this disease. SCFN Phase 1 in progress. Phase 2 to be implemented in Edo, Enugu and Kano states. 2 Sickle Cell Clinics in operation at Massey Street Children's Hospital, Lagos Island and Primary Health Centre, Amuwo Odofin. Polymerase Chain Reaction Machine (PCR) for DNA analysis commissioned at National Sickle Cell Centre, Idi-Araba, Lagos. * 41 health care workers from Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Ghana trained on genetic counselling.
Partnership with Aart of Life Foundation Sponsoring of a TV series "Against All Odds" focusing on youth who have triumphed over major difficulties in life. 13 week airing of "Against All Odds" TV series successfully executed. Concluded the TV series and Award Gala Night for the winner in November 2006.
MTNF Project C.L.E.A.N (Cleaning the Local Environment all Around Nigeria) in partnership with NINAAFEH Provision of proper waste collection, disposal and recycling facilities as well as public conveniences and water supply. For the health and wellbeing of Nigerians. Project pilot at Alesinloye market, Ibadan commenced. Feasibility study for phase 2 at Onitsha commenced in February 2007. Fabrication of waste recycling plant and machinery in progress.
MTNF C.A.R.E.S Children At Risk Empowerment Scheme (MTNF C.A.R.E.S) Project To improve the well-being, protect, develop & socially include Orphans and Vulnerable Children in four states in Nigeria by providing integrated care and support. * 250 orphans in Lagos, Cross River and Kogi States to be provided with health and educational support. * Contract executed. * 1st payment released.
