    MTN Foundation Equipping Schools

One the Foundation's main projects in equipping schools is the MTN/UNICEF Child Friendly School Initiative (CFSI). The CFSI is a virbrant partnership that aims to improve the quality of basic education by raising the standard of the learning environment in Nigerian Schools.

In its first phase, the project will rehabilitate three schools in three states (Bauchi, Delta and Lagos) through infrastructural improvement. Specifically the project will rehabilitate water sanitation facilities in each school so that children have access to safe water and toilets.

Under the project, basic teaching and learning materials will be provided so that each child has acess to textbooks, readers and writing materials.
