1. Is MTN Nigeria interested in a great idea for a mobile service?

Yes, MTN Nigeria is always interested in providing new services to its customers and has therefore developed a standard framework for working with Content Service Providers that have new innovative ideas and services.


2. How can I work with MTN Nigeria as a Content Service Provider?

To work with MTN Nigeria as a Content Service Provider, you will be required to conclude certain formal contractual agreements with MTN Nigeria and will be required to adhere to a Service Level Agreement.

3. What services can Content Service Providers offer?


The MTN Nigeria Network supports various content services using Voice (IVR) and Short Message Sending (SMS) as bearer.

 

 

4. How much can I charge for my services?


Charges are specified within tariff bands, and the specific service charge will be decided and agreed by both MTN Nigeria and the Content Service Provider.

 

 

5. Will revenue sharing take place?


Yes, this will be stipulated in Content Service Provider agreement

6. Who will be responsible for the marketing of the service?

The Content Service Provider will be responsible for developing and marketing its services. Experience has shown that good exposure of the service leads to a successful campaign.

 

 

7. How long will it take me to launch my service?


The objective of this model is to enable Content Service Providers launch their services as quickly as possible. The time to launch will be dependant upon the completeness of information supplied by the Content Service Provider and the complexity of the service offered.

 

 

8. How do I connect my service to the MTN Nigeria Network?


In most instances, your service will require a physical connection into the MTN Nigeria Network. The specifications and requirements will be provided by MTN Nigeria.

9. Will an agreement be put in place?


Yes, a signed agreement will need to be put in place between MTN Nigeria and the Content Service Provider

 

 

10. Do I need to provide for customer care and support?


As a Content Service Provider, it is your responsibility to fully manage and support your services. MTN Nigeria can assist to route customer queries on your service to your customer support team.

 

 

11. Who do I contact if I am interested in becoming a Content Service Provider?
