This service allows you to use your MTN cell phone when you're abroad in any of the countries with which MTN has a roaming agreement.
Your staffers and business associates can reach you anytime, anywhere in the world and you can also contact them. Your absence therefore does not affect your business. You can go where you want to go and still achieve what you want to achieve. MTN currently has roaming agreements with over 175
networks in 91 countries plus a satellite roaming agreement with Thuraya Satellite. These countries and networks are:

The list above is not exhaustive and would be reviewed from time to time as more and more network and roaming partners are added. International Roaming arrangements are subject to the payment of a =N=50,000 security deposit. For this facility to work, International Calling facility also has to be activated.



 




E-Care is an interactive account management tool that enables postpaid subscribers self-manage their accounts via web-based interface.

The E-Care service allows you to add/delete certain products to/from your account profiles, view your account bills online or have it sent to your e-mail accounts or have it faxed to a specified number

The E-care service comprises of two modules:

ZipCare and ZipBill

You need to register for this product by completing an E-Care Registration Form and submitting it at an MTN Friendship Centre or to a Corporate Sales executive. Upon successful registration, a user youprovided with an E-Care Password. You will use this E-Care Password to gain access to your Account via the E-care web interface.

This means you can have access to your bills anytime all the time.

This service provides you with access to information via e-mails anytime and anywhere. It provides an e-mail account of about 10MB storage space with a customised e-mail account like john @mtnfastmail.com In addition, you can redirect e-mails from your corporate intranet to your MTN Fastmail account
such that you can access your official mails via your MTN Fastmail account at your convenience.

The service can be accessed by using your phone and laptop (MTN Fastmail Dial-up) or via SMS using the SMS feature of your phone (MTN Fastmail SMS).

This service allows you to send a fax or document even when you're out of the office. With this service, you get two additional numbers on your SIM card: one to receive faxes and the other to receive data. Once this service is activated and you want to send a fax, just connect your cell phone or a data card to your laptop or with personal digital assistant (such as a Palm) and go ahead.

You'll need to have a cell phone and a computer that are compatible, as well as the special connecting accessories (unless you use infrared). Just dial into your Internet service provider as normal and your cell phone becomes a phone line. Once you're connected, you'll also be able to use any Internet service, including accessing your e-mail. Subscribers pay =N=1,500 set-up fee for this service to be activated.

MTN messenger offers a cost effective SMS tariff plan that caters for the needs of corporations and organisations using Short Message Service (SMS) based applications or customers using a high volume of text messages. This service is particularly useful for organisations in the product or service business with a database of their clients' numbers. Chain stores can use this to alert frequent shoppers of the arrival of new items or for telemetry. Airlines can use it to broadcast to their frequent flyers. Hotels and Restaurants can use it to broadcast events and specials to their clientele. The opportunities are endless. On this tariff plan, the SMS costs just =N=8:00. It is therefore highly cost effective. A monthly subscription fee is required on this.

Subscription to this service requires the completion of a subscriber agreement form
and the payment of a refundable security deposit.

This product is designed to enable both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers on the MTN network retrieve telephone numbers of corporate organisations 24hours of the day via SMS. The information available to subscribers are Telephone Numbers of companies. With over 35,000 companies listed on this directory, subscribers never get stranded. No formal registration is required for this service.

All a subscriber needs to do is to send the name of the organisation as an SMS to a short code; 142. The telephone number of the company will be sent back to the subscriber as an SMS. Where more than one company exist with the name, multiple results will be generated for the subscriber to choose from.




 




This service turns your cell phone to a virtual fax machine when you're on the move. You can
receive fax messages in your Voicemail facility and then transfer them to a fax machine where they
can be printed out. This ensures that no matter where you are, business is not held up because you
are away from your office fax machine.

The set-up fee for this is =N=1,500.

It's a fax number that is never busy or out of paper, so faxes can be sent first time, every time.
Downloads will be attempted for 3 hours, if unsuccessful, the transfer will abort and an
SMS (Short Message Service) notification will be received indicating that the transmission was
unsuccessful.
Unplayed messages will be stored for 7 days and played messages for 2 days.

Imagine! A fax that never runs out of paper. Fax messages up to 35 pages each and as many as 50
messages can be stored

Your faxmail number is the same as your cellphone number except that you need to add 174 just after
the 0803 of your cellphone number. For example, if your phone number is 0803 212 1234, your fax number
would be 0803 174 212 1234.

This service is an electronic Yellow Page containing subscriber addresses and telephone numbers accessible by subscribers' contacts. Subscribers (Corporate and Consumer) are encouraged to register for this optional service. Registration ensures that you are always contactable whenever and wherever as your contacts can call MTN to ask for your number. This ensures no business opportunity passes you by.

You can register for this by filling MTN4u form obtainable at our corporate sales executives, MTN Friendship Centres, Dealer Outlets and MTN Connect.



MTN XTRASMART offers corporate organizations and individuals a range of spend control tariff plans that enable hassle-free control of both employee and personal phone call costs. It offers you and your organization all the benefits you would expect from a contract package plus the cost control feature of a prepaid package. MTN XTRASMART customers are required to commit to an upfront monthly payment of either N3,000, N5,000, N10,000 depending on the intended usage pattern. Each band offers different call rates. This monthly payment entitles you to airtime value equivalent to the amount of the chosen band and can be used for voice (local and international), data and value added services.
Monthly payments must be made before the eight of the month. Failure to do this latest by the 8th of the month will result in the customer being suspended. Once the monthly airtime allowance has been exhausted, you will no longer be able to make calls. You may decide to wait till the new month before making payments or you may choose to make additional payments within the month either in cash or with a cheque into your account. You may also choose to recharge your account using MTN's prepaid recharge cards.

If you have always wanted the benefits of a contract plan without the risk of running an uncontrolled bill at the end of the month, MTN XTRASMART will put you back in control.

Now you will never spend more than you can afford; no compulsory deposits on international calling, activation charges and no long term contractual agreements.

This service gives customers the opportunity of calling a corporate or business organisation free -of-charge by dialling an 0803 toll free number. The organisation will be charged for their customer’s call based on usage. In other words, the business bears all the traffic charges on behalf of the callers.

By bearing the cost of incoming calls, potential customers are given a powerful incentive to call the organisation. Ultimately the cost of these calls would be made up for from the increased volume of business attracted. Therefore, corporate and Mid-Sized businesses can use toll free numbers in connection with their sales and marketing efforts.
