Who We Are

The MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited by Guarantee was established in July 2004 for the purpose of focusing MTNN’s efforts in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to help reduce poverty and foster sustainable development in Nigeria.

The MTN Foundation is the vehicle through which MTN Nigeria implements its Corporate Social Investment initiatives. The focus of the Foundation is to give back to society and impact the quality of lives in the communities where they operate in a meaningful and sustainable fashion.

Our Vision:

To be a leader in CSR initiatives in Nigeria measured by the impact and sustainability of our projects on our host communities as well as high perception rating of MTN’s brand.

Mission:

To improve the quality of life in the area of Health, Education and Economic Empowerment on a sustainable basis in such a way as to impact positively on the MTN brand.

For us, corporate social responsibility is about making a practical, positive impact on the lives of Nigerians. It requires us to understand clearly the issues that concern our society and to intervene in the most critical areas.

The MTN Foundation, which is the arrowhead of MTN's social investment drive, is playing a key role in deploying various programmes designed to help reduce poverty and foster sustainable development in Nigeria.
