The MTN Nigeria Foundation, through the Medical Support Project, is supporting Nigeria’s health sector with 12 state-of-the-art Haemodialysis and 6 Mammography Centres across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
The 7th Edition of the Health and Life Skills Camp held at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Sea School, Apapa between 24th – 27th, November, 2010. The children were treated to various games, empowerment seminars, role plays, kayaking etc.
As part of MTNF funding of the Sickle Cell project, which is in its 4th phase, MTNF on January 5, 2011 made donations of drugs and consumables to the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria, implementers of its MTNF Sickle Cell project.
On January 20, 2011, as part of MTNF’s response to environmental issues, it commissioned its MTNF Cleaning the Local Environment All Around Nigeria (C.L.E.A.N) project, a waste recycling facility at Alesinloye Market, Ibadan, Oyo state.
