When should I pay my MTN XTRASMART prepaid monthly fee?
Payments are expected on or before the 8th day of each month.

What type of calls can I use my MTN XTRASMART airtime fee for?
Your prepaid airtime can be used to make local (within Nigeria) or International calls. To make international calls, SMS, VAS and data calls, a security deposit will not be required, the value of your calls will simply be deducted from your airtime.

What happens if I do not use up the prepaid airtime value of my chosen plan each month?
Any unused inclusive of airtime value may be carried over to the following month. You may accumulate a maximum of 3 months worth of unused inclusive airtime value. This amount shall not be allocated as credit towards monthly fees or as credit towards outstanding amounts due and is not refundable.

What happens if I paid more than the MTN XTRASMART charge required for my chosen plan within the month and I do not use it?
It will be available on your account next month and can be used for airtime or as a credit towards monthly charges.

Can I use airtime/ recharge cards and boostercards to top-up my account and pay my monthly bills?
Yes, just dial 557 to recharge your MTN XTRASMART account.

Can l have access to IDD and roaming services?
International calling will not require a deposit and the service is available upon activation, however the roaming facility will not be available under MTN bundles plan.

How can l check my balance?
You can retrieve your account information by dialing *556#.

Can my MTN XTRASMART be used for SMS?
Your MTN bundles value can be used to send SMS. Your SMS service center number must be set to +234 803 0000 000 to enable you send messages.
