MTN Family and Friends is a special service available on family-oriented XtraConnect Plan that gives 50% discount rate on all calls to 3 pre-specified numbers of your ‘Family and Friends’:

• XtraConnect customers will enjoy 50% discount

This service is available to prepaid customers on XtraConnect plan ONLY. All calls to other networks will be charged at the normal call rate

However, the full (normal) tariff plan rate is applicable to calls to registered ‘Family and Friends’ numbers when the caller is on MTN XtraCool, XtraPro, XtraSpecial XtraProfit i.e. these prepaid plans will not enjoy any discounts to Family and Friends numbers. Thus, on migration from, XtraConnect to any other prepaid tariff plan, your MTN Family & Friends numbers will become dormant. However, they will automatically be re-activated once you switch back to MTN XtraConnect.

Calls made to MTN numbers other than the registered MTN Family & Friends numbers will be charged at the normal call rate.

TO REGISTER

You can register each of your MTN Family & Friends numbers at any time dialling *560*1*080 XXXX XXXX# is your selected MTN Family & Friends number. You will recieve a message that you have successfully registered your selected number. First 3 registered Family & Friends numbers are free of charge, while subsequent registration of each Family & Friends numbers will attract a fee of N50.

You can de-register any of your Family & Friends numbers at any time by dialling *560*2*080 XXXX XXXX (where 080 XXXX XXXX is the number you wish to de-register). De-registering a number does not attract any charge.
You can view your registered Family & Friends numbers at any time free of charge by dialling *560#.
