MTN Pulse is a prepaid mobile plan that allows you call:
Other MTN Pulse customers at an intra-community rate of 8.34 kobo/sec
Other MTN customers at an Inter-community rate of 25 kobo/sec
Other networks at 35 kobo/sec after the first minute of call for the day at 40 kobo/sec

You should migrate to MTN Pulse so that you can enjoy the following exciting services:

• The more you talk, the less you pay on your calls to other MTN Pulse customers after the first minute of call for the day.
• MTN Pulse Bonus
• Special rate for MTN Pulse SMS chat service to other MTN customers
• Free calls to all MTN customers from 12:30am to 4:30am with a minimum account balance of N100

Yes, by simply texting 406 to 131 or dialing *406#.

No, MTN Post paid customers cannot migrate to the MTN Pulse tariff plan.

Yes, you can use all MTN number ranges - 0803, 0806, 0703, 0706, 0813, 0816, 0810 numbers and other future number ranges as your MTN Pulse numbers.

You cannot use the following types of numbers as your MTN Pulse number:

• Premium rated numbers
•  VAS numbers
• MTN short dials
•  International numbers
• Numbers on other networks

You will receive the notification message: “Welcome to MTN Pulse! Migration costs N0.00.”Enjoy 8.34k/sec for Pulse to Pulse calls, free browsing to any website and loads of other freebies”

You will not be charged for subscribing to MTN Pulse.

You can migrate in and out of MTN Pulse as often as you want BUT your first migration in 30 days will be free while you will be charged NGN100 for subsequent migrations in the same 30 day period.

Yes, you can enjoy regressive pricing on the MTN Pulse tariff plan.

To enjoy regressive pricing on MTN Pulse:

• Migrate to the MTN Pulse tariff plan by texting 406 to 131 or dialing *406#.
• From 00:00 on Day 1, MTN will start adding up the duration of all the MTN-to-MTN and MTN-to-Other calls that you make.
• For the first 60 seconds of calls that you make, your MTN-to-MTN calls will be charged at 48 kobo per second.
• After you have made a total of 60 seconds worth of calls, all your calls to other MTN Pulse customers will be charged at 8.34 kobo/sec, other MTN customers at 25 kobo/sec and other networks at 30 kobo/sec for the rest of the day.
• At 11:59pm (23:59), your total call duration will be re-set to 0 minutes and your tariff will return to 40 kobo per second for your MTN-to-MTN/MTN-to-Other networks calls.
• At 12:00am (00:00) on Day 2, the same will happen - after your first one minute of call, your Pulse-to-Pulse calls will be charged at 8.34 kobo per second, Pulse-to-other networks at 25 kobo/sec and calls to other networks at 30 kobo/sec for the rest of the day.  

NB: the daily accumulation, recording and re-setting of total minutes spent on calls to eligible numbers will end ONLY when you migrate from the MTN Pulse tariff plan to any other tariff plan or when you buy a bundle.

Yes, you will receive an end of call notification message at the end of every call. For example, “You have made 40secs of calls. Make 20 seconds more to enjoy lower charges”.

Yes, your call rate will drop even if you are in the middle of a call.

Yes, you will be able to enjoy all your standard prepaid services when you are on MTN Pulse.

 
Intra-community tariff allows ONLY MTN Pulse customers enjoy discounted call rate of 8.34 kobo/sec to other MTN Pulse customers after the first minute of call daily while inter-community tariff allows MTN Pulse customers enjoy discounted call rate of 25 kobo/sec to other MTN customers after the first minute of call daily.

No, you will NOT be able to enjoy intra and inter-community rate on other prepaid tariff plans.

• Yes, you will receive a start of call notification message once you start making a call. Example:
• For Pulse to Pulse calls: “Your Pulse call will be charged at 8.34k/Sec only”
• For Pulse to other MTN Numbers: “Your Pulse to other MTN call will be charged at 25k/Sec only”

No, you will not be able to enjoy the MTN Family and Friends service while on MTN Pulse tariff plan.

1. Simply buy an MTN recharge card
2. Scratch the silver foil off the 12-digit PIN
3. Dial *555*xxxx xxxx xxxx#. Your account will immediately be credited with the value of the recharge card that you bought.

Dial *556#. You will immediately receive the message: Your Pulse balance is: Nxxxx.xx;

No, MTN Bundles - HappyLink and FunLink Bundles – are not available any longer.
