With MTN TalkOn, the more you talk, the less you pay.

You can make a lot more calls than you are used to and gain even more access to even more business contacts at a very cost-effective tariff.

How does MTN TalkOn work?

It´s  simple. To enjoy MTN TalkOn:

1. Migrate to the MTN TalkOn plan by texting 401 to 131.
2. From 00:00 on Day 1, MTN will start adding up the duration of all the MTN-to-MTN and MTN-to-Other calls that you make.
3. For the first 60 seconds of calls that you make, your MTN-to-MTN calls will be charged at 50 kobo per second.
4. After you have made a total of 60 seconds worth of calls, you will receive a message: Y'ello! Your MTN-to-MTN calls will now be charged at 25k/sec. Thank you!
5. All your MTN-to-MTN calls will now be charged at 25 kobo per second for the rest of the day.
6. At 23:59, your total call duration will be re-set to 0 minutes and your tariff will return to 50 kobo per second for your MTN-to-MTN calls.
7. At 00:00 on Day 2, the cycle re-starts and after your first 60 seconds worth of calls, your MTN-to-MTN calls will be charged at 25 kobo per second.

NOTE: Only the rates for your MTN-to-MTN calls will drop to 25 kobo per second. Your MTN-to-Other calls will remain the same
at 50 kobo per second.

How do I check my TalkOn Tab?

TalkOn Tab is a counter that allows you keep track of how many seconds you have talked for.

The TalkOn Tab also shows you how many more seconds you need to talk for before your MTN-to-MTN rates drop.

To check your TalkOn Tab, simply text 402 to 131. You will immediately get a message:

Your TalkOn Tab of calls you have made today is: 2 minutes 41 seconds. Thank you!
