MTN Nigeria introduces *123# USSD Menu, a self-help service that provides you with a one-stop-destination for MTN Value Added Services. Through this menu you will be able to activate and deactivate your favorite services from your mobile phone by simply dialing *123# and replying the serial number of the service.

What is the benefit this service?

You no longer need to memorize short codes or commands to access MTN services. Just dial one simple command *123# SEND and you will receive a menu with the most useful and interesting services from MTN.

Who is it for?

The service is available to all MTN prepaid and postpaid customers.

How much does it cost to use the service?

• Using the menu is free.
• Services will be charged as per standard tariff plan. For Example, you will be charged when you use this service to buy subscription services such as MTN data bundle plan, MTN CallerTunez.

How to use the service.

• Dial *123# SEND then you will receive the main menu of the service displaying services for you to choose from.
• To browse the menu, enter the corresponding number of your desired option and press OK.
  For example, to fetch your phone number:
  1. Dial *123# SEND, it will display the following menu:
     
  2. Respond with 1, to navigate to My Tools.
     To get the information required for my tools, simply enter the corresponding number which is one (1) and press ok. The information below will be displayed.
     
  3. Respond with 5 to get Your Number from the network.

     What you should know about this service.

• Each USSD session times out after 90 seconds from the moment you dial *123#. You will have to restart the session when this happens.
• Your responses will be shown on the phone display. Unlike SMS messages, the USSD messages are not saved in your phone memory and cannot be deleted.
