and sometimes ask Customers to send SMS messages or
the PIN numbers of Recharge Cards to certain numbers,
with the promise of certain rewards.

MTN will like the general public to note that all MTN's official and authentic promotions, bonanzas and special offers are usually advertised on the pages of newspapers, on the electronic media and on MTN's official website at www.mtnonline.com. MTN advises all its numerous valued Customers and the general public to always verify the genuineness of any suspicious text or e-mail messages purportedly relating to any promotions, bonanzas, special offers or any similar schemes by checking the MTN website, calling MTN Customer Service on 180, or visiting any MTN Service Centre or MTN Connect for confirmation.

MTN hereby disclaims liability for any losses, injuries or damages of any form howsoever caused that may be suffered by any person on account of any scheme not officially promoted by MTN.
