Loyalty Programme

MTN Prestige is a programme specially designed to recognise and reward our premium customers – those who spend a minimum of N5, 000 on the MTN Network monthly.

This programme is open to all MTN prepaid and post-paid customers who fall within the above category.

A minimum cumulative spend of N60,000 within a 12-month cycle earns a customer a membership medal into the MTN Prestige Club. This gives the customer access to enjoy a bouquet of rewards for 12 months.

The membership levels with the bouquet of benefits are categorised under the tiers listed below, beginning with the highest category.

Band Spend: With an average monthly spend of N100,000 accumulating to N1,200,000.00 or more within a 12 month spend cycle, a customer automatically qualifies to be a Y’ello Prestige member.

The rewards for this membership tier are:

PLATINUM Prestige Member

Band Spend: With an average spend of N50,000 monthly, accumulating a minimum of N600,000 within a 12-month cycle, a customer automatically qualifies to be a Platinum Prestige member.

The rewards for this membership tier are:

GOLD Prestige member

Band Spend: With an average spend of N30,000 monthly, summing up to a minimum of N360,000 within a 12-month cycle, a customer automatically qualifies to be a Gold Prestige member.

Band Spend: With an average spend of N10,000 monthly, adding up to a minimum of N120,000 within a 12-month cycle, a customer automatically qualifies to be a Silver Prestige member.

Band Spend: With an average spend of N5,000 monthly, accumulating to N60,000 or more within a 12-month cycle, a customer automatically qualifies to be a Bronze Prestige member.

Band Spend: For any month a non-Prestige customer spends up to N5,000, the customer qualifies as a Blue Prestige member in the subsequent month

The EVER-BRIGHT Prestige customer

Other active customers that have stayed loyal to the MTN network for 10 years and above are specially recognised as our Ever-Bright Prestige customers. These customers are rewarded with free airtime and data on their respective anniversaries on the MTN network.

Q: What is MTN PRESTIGE?

A: MTN Prestige is MTN’s Loyalty programme, designed to recognise and reward our Premium customers. These are customers who spend a minimum of N5, 000 in a month on the MTN Network.


Q: What class of customers are eligible to be a part of the MTN Prestige Club?

A: All MTN prepaid and post-paid customers on our various price plans – Beta talk, Trutalk, Talk more, Pulse, mPulse, Xtravalue, and Xtraspecial can become MTN Prestige members once they spend up to N5,000 within a month.


Q: How do I qualify to be an MTN Prestige member?

A: Qualification into MTN Prestige is automatic once you spend N5,000 by the end of any month.


Q: What categories exist in the MTN Prestige membership?

A: Members are categorised into six bands as indicated in the table below:

Q: How do I identify my band?

A: Once you attain the minimum band spend, you will be notified of your status as a Prestige member via SMS / E-mail / myMTN NG App or through your Relationship Officer, depending on the band. Also, your MTN Prestige membership virtual card will display on the home page of the myMTN NG App


Q: What qualifies me to become a full member of the MTN Prestige club, and what are my benefits?

A: The table below shows the qualifying spend threshold for the respective tiers and the benefits attached to each:

Q: Does MTN Prestige Membership expire?

A: Yes, at the end of a 12-month cycle for all tiers except Blue, whose validity is only for the qualifying month/s. Renewal is automatic once a customer attains the given spend threshold of N5000 for the Blue category and N60,000 and above for the other tiers.


Q. Will I be notified of my Prestige Membership expiration?

Yes, you will be notified of your membership expiration through myMTN App / SMS / e-mail or your dedicated Relationship Officer.


Q: Is there any reward for those who do not meet the minimum threshold but have remained loyal to the MTN Network?

A: Yes, we recognise customers who have remained loyal to our network for 10 years and above. We call this category of specially valued MTN customers ‘ Ever-Bright’. They are rewarded with Free Airtime and Data on their anniversaries on the MTN network, i.e. the day the customer’s SIM was activated on our network.


Q: How do I know who my dedicated Relationship Officer is?

A: As an eligible Y’ello Platinum or Gold member, you are informed of your Relationship manager when your new status is being communicated to you via e-mail, SMS, and through your Relationship Officer.


Q: How do I enjoy the exclusive lifestyle discounts being offered by high-end stores and businesses?

A: Visit / Download myMTN NG App, then access the Prestige section of the App by taking the following steps:

a. Click your ‘MTN Prestige Rewards’

b. View your Benefits

c. Explore available offers

d. Click on your desired merchants to see discounts

e. Note your voucher code

f. Present voucher code at merchant outlet/website

g. Await shop’s verification of voucher

h. The discount will be applied at the point of payment.


Q: How do I know the merchants/stores/outlets to shop from?

A: Once you are in the Prestige section of myMTN NG app, the available merchants are listed under various lifestyle categories such as Fashion, Hotels, Beauty & Wellness, Food & Drinks, E-Commerce, Household etc.

Once you click on these, you are free to choose the store you want to shop from.


Q: How long are the vouchers valid for?

A: Validity is for one month from the day you generate the voucher.


Q: Can I shop online?

A: Yes, you can. Outlets with online access have the website’s link (URL) included in your recently generated voucher’s SMS and or E-mail notifications.


Q: What do I do if I am unable to redeem the voucher at the outlet or website?

A: Send an e-mail to PrestigeNG.com or WhatsApp/SMS to 09036006000. Necessary steps will be taken to resolve the issue.


Q: How do I gain access to myMTN NG App’s Prestige section?

A: Access into the Prestige Space is for eligible Y’ello, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue members only. Click on ‘Rewards’ displayed on the home page of myMTN NG App to get to the Prestige section.


Q: When do those who attain the minimum threshold of N60,000 begin to enjoy their benefits?

A: Once a customer attains N60,000 or any of the other bands, he/ she is informed of this, including the associated rewards/benefits due to the customer are immediately extended too.


Q: Is there any reward for Blue customers who spend at least N5,000 per month but have yet to accumulate N60,000.00?

A: Customers on Beta talk, Trutalk, Talk more, Pulse, mPulse, Xtravalue, and Xtraspecial who spend up to N5,000 per month will be recognised as Blue members and then given access to shop and enjoy special discounts from high-end stores and businesses on myMTN NG App. However, access is

for 4 weeks, following the month in which N5000 minimum was spent on the network. (Coming soon)

The journey to enjoy membership privileges for a 12 month cycle starts with spending an average of N5,000 consistently for 12 months, adding up to a minimum of N60,000.00 threshold.
