Prestige is a Loyalty scheme, designed to recognize and reward YOU our customer, who has shown loyalty by making MTN, your choice network.

The prestige loyalty scheme is available to all prepaid, post-paid and e-post-paid customers who spend a minimum of N60, 000.00 over a 12-month cycle and or have remained on the MTN network for 10 years and above.

The good news is that qualification into the Prestige “Circle of Distinction” is automatic once you consistently spend an average of N5,000 monthly, adding up to a cumulative spend of N60,000 over a 12-month period.

Q:  What bands are MTN Prestige members placed into?

A:  Members are categorized into five bands – Y’ello, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. These categories are based on customer spend on the network over a 12-month period.


Q: How do I know the band that I belong to?

  1. A: Every Prestige member’s band is displayed on the customer virtual card on the home page of myMTN app (mobile App). A click on the card gets you to view band and enjoy your benefits, you must download myMTN App from Google Play Store (Android users) and Apple store (iPhone users).

Q: Does MTN Prestige Membership expire?

A: Yes, MTN Prestige membership is valid for one year and can be renewed based on your spend. A customer’s average monthly spend must be within the range of ₦5,000 threshold for a 12 consecutive month cycle.


Q: Will I be notified of my Prestige Membership expiration?

Yes, you will be notified of your membership expiration through myMTN App, your dedicated Relationship Officer, SMS and or e-mail.


Q: How do I access my benefits?

Open / Launch myMTN App from your phone and navigate to the Prestige page on the APP to view your benefits.


Q: How do I generate vouchers from myMTN App?

A: Vouchers will be generated from the Prestige page in the App. Click on any merchant store of your choice and click on voucher to generate the code.


Q: Can I generate more than one voucher?

A: Yes, you can generate more than one voucher.


Q: Where are the list of selected lifestyle merchants and their discount rates?

The list of merchants and their respective discount rates is on the Prestige page of myMTN App.


Q: After vouchers are generated, how do I redeem them?

All generated vouchers are redeemable at the stores after confirmation of vouchers’ validity by the Merchants / Stores / Businesses.


Q; I just generated a voucher and it appeared once on my phone screen. I do not know where it is stored/saved?

A: All generated vouchers are sent to the customer’s email, SMS and saved in the history page on myMTN App.


Q: I didn’t like the experience I received from a visited store, who could I address my complaints to?

Q: Can I redeem my voucher from any outlet of listed stores?

A: All generated vouchers can only be redeemed at selected store address, displayed on the voucher.


Q: Can I redeem my vouchers through a proxy?

A: No, all vouchers can only be redeemed by the eligible customer.


Q: Is it only via myMTN App that I can generate my vouchers?

A: Yes for now. Irrespective of customer status, vouchers can only be accessed through myMTN app. As soon as other platforms are available, you shall be notified.


Q: Of what purpose is the MTN Prestige Virtual card?

A: This shows an eligible Prestige customer’s status and can be used for identity purposes where and when necessary.


Q: Is there any way, a non-Prestige customer can be recognized before a 12-month cycle?

A: Yes, a non-Prestige customer who spends up to N5000 or more by the end of a given month will be recognized and rewarded with exclusive discounts from high-end brands


Q: Is there any reward for those who are 10 years and above on the MTN Network?

A: Yes, we call this category of MTN customers ‘Prestige Brass’. They are rewarded in some special way with MTN Network Voice and Data gifting on their Anniversaries (the day they were activated on the MTN Network).
